Beds ‘n Shreds Collection Event Happening June 10

For one day only, Fort Collins will be hosting a special Beds ‘n Shreds collection event, giving community members the chance to get rid of certain unwanted items for a small fee.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, the Timberline Recycling Center will serve as the drop-off location for mattresses and box springs of all sizes. There will be any entry fee of $5, and it will cost another $10 for every unwanted item. In addition, they will be accepting personal and office documents that will be securely shredded. It will cost you $5 for each “bankers” box/file box, and these can only be a maximum of 35 pounds. If possible, it's requested that you remove non-paper notebooks, 3-ring binders, and binder clips prior to dropping off your materials.
