Body of Missing 25-Year-Old Hiker Found in RMNP

It's with sad news that we announce that the body of Peter Jeffris, a 25-year-old man from Broomfield, was found in Rocky Mountain National Park after he had been reported missing for several days.

A search party was sent out for Jeffris after he did not return to work on Monday, and people began to worry about him. His car was found to still be at the Longs Peak trailhead.

Rescue crews in a helicopter located the body of Peter Jeffris on Longs Peak, about 200 feet below one of the popular routes up.
