The Safest and Most Dangerous States

Which states are the safest in America? Which ones should you fear living in? A recent study by WalletHub recently ranked the states from the safest to the most dangerous and did so using categories like personal and residential safety, financial safety, road safety, workplace safety, and emergency preparedness to do so. Using these criteria, it was determined that Vermont is the safest state in America, followed by Massachusetts, and Maine rounding out the top three. The most dangerous state to live in is Mississippi, with Louisiana being the second most dangerous, and Texas rounding out the bottom three. Where does Colorado rank, and what should your concerns be?
Is Colorado a Safe Place to Live?

According to the study, Colorado is among the most dangerous states to live in, coming in as the 8th least safe state. Colorado ranks 46th in personal and residential safety, 19th in financial safety, 41st in road safety, 38th in workplace safety, and 29th in emergency preparedness. This means Colorado is in the lower half of every category except for financial safety. You are in danger at home, on the road, at work, and it is unlikely you are prepared for any of the dangers that could take place.
