Two Frightening Frontier Airlines Incidents Have Travelers Feeling Freaked Out
What in the world is happening over at Frontier Airlines in Denver? Every time I turn the news on, I swear something else upsetting has happened, and today was no different.
Just as Frontier Airlines is trying to cash in on another airline shutting down, Spirit Airlines, they just keep hitting unfortunate wall after wall. Let's start with something that happened only yesterday.
Frontier Airlines Incident Number One
While a Frontier flight was preparing to depart from Denver International Airport, someone found a magazine. Not like a People magazine, but a gun magazine.
The plane was completely evacuated, and officials from the Denver International Airport are reporting that the gun magazine clip was more than likely the property of a law enforcement officer.
Frontier Airlines Incident Number Two
In other horrifying news, just a few days prior to the gun magazine being found on a Frontier flight, a man walked onto the runway and was sucked into the engine and died...obviously.
The instant fireball right on the plane's wing caused mass panic, and the passengers and crew had to escape down one of those big slides.
Again, both horrifying and tragic incidents occurred back-to-back, and the timing is not great, as Frontier is trying to lure Spirit customers over after Spirit promptly shut its doors.
In conclusion, if the gun magazine from incident one did in fact belong to an officer of the law, then I guess we shouldn't worry about a random passenger who was able to sneak it through security, which was my first thought.
And as far as the troubling situation with the man walking onto the runway and being fatally struck, I guess I'm just left wondering how anyone would be able to get that far with fences, gates, and security clearance.
Gives one a lot to think about when deciding which airline to book your family vacation on.
