Buffalo Trace Will Be in Denver in 2026 With Free Whiskey

With the popularity of the TV show "Yellowstone," came the increased popularity across Colorado of Buffalo Trace whiskey. Coming to Denver, will be a special event featuring free  Buffalo Trace tasting.

Where Will Buffalo Trace Be Holding Its Free Whiskey Tasting in Denver?

According to TheSpiritsBusiness.com, Denver's event will take place at The Church Ranch Event Center, off Wadsworth and 103rd Avenue in Westminster; being in north Denver, it gives those of us in Northern Colorado to attend and get some free whiskey.

When Will Buffalo Trace's Free Whiskey Tasting Event Take Place in Westminster?

Over four days, November 12 through 15, 2026, Buffalo Trace will hold 14 tasting sessions lasting 75 minutes each. Experts will discuss the whiskeys that they've brought, as well as the history and techniques used at Buffalo Trace.

The tastings are indeed free, but you need to register for tickets (you can only get four tickets, max.) here. Registration for Denver's event opens at 8:00 a.m. on September 2.

I think if I were going- I haven't decided yet- that I'd dress up in "western" garb: Cowboy boots, cowboy hat, etc., to get into the spirit of it all.

Whiskeys Scheduled to Be On Hand in Westminster:

• Eagle Rare 10 Year Old.
• Weller Antique 107.
• Sazerac Rye 100 Proof (new.)

With the initial event in 2025, the four cities included on the tour were St. Louis, Missouri; Kansas City, Missouri; Jacksonville, Florida, and Tampa, Florida. With the 2026 event, they'll hit not only Denver but also Branson, Missouri; Dallas, Texas; and a return trip to Kansas City. Denver will be the final stop on the 2026 tour.
