
Colorado Kids Learn About Fire Engines and Cybertrucks After Odd Crash Into Their School
If there's one thing most kids in Colorado enjoy, it's a fire truck. If there's one thing that many Colorado kids do, it's attend a pre-school. It's definitely an exciting day when a car crashes into your school, as a kid; especially when it's a Cybertruck.
What School Did a Cybertruck Crash Into in Colorado?
The school where a Cybertruck crashed into it, according to the Denver Gazette, was the Primrose School of Lone Tree. They handle infants, through toddlers, up to pre-kindergarten. At the time of the Cybertruck crash, there were 78 kids, and 22 adults inside the school, all of whom were evacuated.
Why Did a Cybertruck Crash Into a Colorado School?
Lone Tree Police Department, as of May 13, 2026, was still investigating why the Cybertruck crashed into a small section of Primrose and caught fire, a little before 9:00 a.m. on May 13.
It sounds like the kids didn't get to see much of anything: the school had evacuated itself so efficiently, with everyone very far away from the school, South Metro Fire believed that the school was vacant when they arrived on the scene. Maybe the kids got to get up close to the fire trucks that were there.

What Might Have Happened with the Cybertruck That Crashed Into a School?
One of the noted issues with the Cybertruck is unintended acceleration; that could have been a factor in the crash. It could have been "operator error," or perhaps the driver had a medical episode and lost control. On the very bright side, the car wasn't traveling fast enough to careen further into the school.
