With all the places around Colorado that seem to be trying to attract customers with "dirty sodas," it was just a matter of time before the originator of them would bring locations to The Centennial State.

Who is the Dirty Soda Shop Chain Coming to Colorado?

Swig, THE dirty soda drink chain, began in Utah in 2010. It was started by a mother of five; kids are known to like treats and to be thirsty, maybe that's how she got started: Drinks can be expensive, why not come up with your own? Today, there are over 1050 Swig locations across the nation, soon to include Colorado.

Where Wil Swig Be When It Comes to Colorado?

According to PR Newswire, a father-son franchise team will be opening up not just one, not just a few, but a whopping 10 Swigs in Colorado Springs. I would think that Colorado Springs must give some sort of incentive to bring new businesses to the state, but it looks like the Springs is a hotspot because of it's growing population and diversified economy.

I took a look at Swig's menu and they have a lot of choices; over 40 dirty sodas alone. The "Texas Tea" sounds delicious to me: Dr. Pepper, Vanilla and Coconut Cream. They have other drinks along with hot chocolate and pretzel bites. I did not see pretzel bites coming, I can tell you that.

With 10 locations coming to Colorado Springs it will hopefully only take a couple of years before we see at least one location in Northern Colorado.
