With spring in Colorado, comes "spring cleaning." After you've done that cleaning, you may find you have a lot of things you're ready to let go of; Berthoud holds an annual event to do just that, and make a few bucks.

What Is the Big Yard Sale/Flea Market in Berthoud?

2026 marks the second time that the Town of Berthoud has put on their "Roam & Rummage" event at the Town's newest park, Waggener Farm Park, northeast of the intersection of Highway 287 and Highway 56.  The park has a gravel parking lot on its south side, and that's where they hold this outdoor flea market.

For $10, folks from the Berthoud area can "rent" a space to sell their second-hand items. I bet it's great way to meet new people and have a fun Saturday afternoon. Being as it happens on the second Saturday of June (June 13 in 2026) from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., you just might find something that the Dad in your family would like.

This isn't like your usual flea market, where you'll find vendors selling new crafts or wares; this is strictly about being like your own garage sale, like a lot of garage sales, all together.

What Does the $10 Fee for the 'Roam & Rummage' in Berthoud Get You?

For $10 (register here,) people get two parking spaces in the lot, and you can park your car in one space. You need to bring your own table or a tarp to display your items, since the lot is just gravel, and you can set up a pop up canopy/tent.

They'll have a dumpster for throwing out things you don't want to take home, but you can also donate those items to Habitat for Humanity in Berthoud.
