Man Plays (Ahem, Magic?) Mushroom Like a Trumpet [VIDEO]

Some mushrooms are good on salads and others will give you groovy visions. But what you probably didn’t know is that at least one species of the fungi can double as an instrument, making a loud sound surprisingly similar to a trumpet.

Check out mushroom merchant Ben Maleson belt out tunes on a mushroom nicknamed “The Trumpet of Death.” The “death” part is a misnomer — the ‘shroom is edible and quite tasty — but the “trumpet” part is no joke.
