Getting off the lift at Eldora Ski Resort

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area will open today.  They are the first resort in the United States to open this season.

The High Noon trail and the Black Mountain Express high-speed quad chairlift will open at 9 a.m.

A-Basin started making snow on Oct. 2 and has created an 18-inch base that’s necessary for the resort to open. Tickets for opening day through Dec. 19 will run $69 for adults, $57 for youths and $34 for children.
