
Cyclist Left With Serious Injuries After Collision With Motorist in Fort Collins Thursday
A cyclist and motorist collided in Fort Collins Thursday morning and is being treated for serious injuries.

The cyclist is said to have been riding Eastbound down Mountain Avenue when the accident occurred. The cyclist was crossing Sheilds when he was struck by a blue SUV. He was sent flying into the vehicles windshield. It is believed that it took the driver of the vehicle about 40 feet before they came to a complete stop after hitting the cyclist.The cyclist, who's name has not been released was wearing a helmet. He was taken to The Medical Center of the Rockies.
Initial investigations into the accident that occurred Thursday morning around 11a.m. indicates that the vehicle may have ran a red light.
